    Description

Dichroic glass dates back to at least the 4th century AD. It can be seen in the Lycurgus cup, a Roman glass beaker in the British Museum, named after Lycurgus, the Greek God of wine. Today’s dichroic glass is made by sealing a layer of iridescent plating inside a glass stone. This technique creates the head turning material you’ll love to use to elevate your everyday look.

This stylish pendant is made with a mixture of green, blue and black dichroic glass colors and set in sterling silver. Depending on the angle at which it is viewed, the dichroic glass cabochon will display multiple colors. The colors are spectacular – much deeper, richer, and dynamic than the pictures can show. Each piece of dichroic glass I use is meticulously crafted by hand, so no two will ever be exactly identical in color and pattern, and I create, fire, and grind all of my dichroic glass in my own studio.
