Description
This eye catching Bolo Tie has braided black leather and an elongated oval, hand forged sterling silver clasp featuring a Brecciated Jasper cabochon. The clasp has a hand sawed, notched design around the outer edge, giving it a distinctive, one of a kind look. The unique Brecciated Jasper cabochon is set in a fine silver serrated edge bezel, with an elegant beaded wire texture surrounding the stone. Handmade sterling silver loops and slide on the back, along with sterling silver beaded tipped tie ends add the finishing touch.
Brecciated Jasper is simply sharp angled fragments of different stone melded together. It is believed to have grounding and stabilizing energies, helping to calm the mind and bring a sense of tranquility. Some Native American tribes used Jasper to dowse for water, to call rain, and to protect them from the dangers during the night.
You say you’d love to have a Bolo Tie but aren’t sure how to wear one? The traditional way to wear a Bolo Tie is to dress it up with a suit and collared shirt, just swap the necktie for a Bolo. Go business casual with a suit jacket or blazer, dark denim jeans, and collared shirt with the top button undone and wear the Bolo clasp loosened to the third button. Or, swap the blazer for a leather or denim jacket, keeping the collared shirt unbuttoned at the top and the Bolo clasp loosened so it sits around the 3rd button of your shirt and pair it with dark indigo or black jeans and cowboy or similar western heeled boots for a mix of contemporary style. There is no right or wrong way to wear a Bolo Tie as long as you wear it with confidence!
