Sterling Silver & Tiger Iron Bolo Tie

$195.00

Toss that necktie and get a Bolo Tie. One of the things we love most about the Bolo Tie is that it’s versatile—more so than a traditional men’s necktie. Bolo Ties are easy to wear and don’t require complicated knots. You can dress them up, dress them down, and everything in between. There is no right or wrong way to wear a Bolo Tie as long as you wear it with confidence!

    Description

This Bolo Tie has braided black leather and the sterling silver clasp features a Tiger Iron cabochon and fine silver granulation accents. Granulation is the controlled process of melting tiny bits of metal into granules or tiny balls and fusing them to jewelry and has been utilized for thousands of years. The clasp has an antiqued patina, the outer edge has a hand hammered texture, and hand forged sterling silver tie slides on the back. Sterling silver beaded tipped tie ends add the finishing touch.

This beautiful natural gemstone is composed of 2 billion year old sedimentary deposits comprised of tiger eye, red jasper and black or silver gray hematite. The rippled wavy bands of color often resemble a scenic view in different pieces. Tiger Iron is said to help with creative endeavors and all types of artistic abilities. This very grounding, healing stone aligns your aura, promotes optimism, psychic ability and intuition. It also brings peace of mind, confidence and inner strength, and stimulates awareness and understanding.

NOTE:  Each individual Tiger Iron cabochon is unique, therefore, only ONE bolo tie has the particular cabochon in the photograph(s) above. If you would like to see the cabochon(s) available before placing your order, please email us at [email protected].

You say you’d love to have a Bolo Tie but aren’t sure how to wear one? The traditional way to wear a Bolo Tie is to dress it up with a suit and collared shirt, just swap the necktie for a Bolo. Go business casual with a suit jacket or blazer, dark denim jeans, and collared shirt with the top button undone and wear the Bolo clasp loosened to the third button. Or, swap the blazer for a leather or denim jacket, keeping the collared shirt unbuttoned at the top and the Bolo clasp loosened so it sits around the 3rd button of your shirt and pair it with dark indigo or black jeans and cowboy or similar western heeled boots for a mix of contemporary style. There is no right or wrong way to wear a Bolo Tie as long as you wear it with confidence!
