Aventurine is a translucent to opaque variety of quartz with mica inclusions responsible for its shimmery surface. Aventurine is used metaphysically to balance out emotions, reduce anxiety and anger. It is believed to stimulate opportunity, improve leadership skills and the ability to make quick, confident decisions. It is also called the “gambler’s stone” and is said to bring luck to games of risk and chance.
