The metal, gold brass, also referred to as jeweler’s brass, red brass, or Merlin’s brass was acid etched with a floral design, given an antiqued patina, then buffed and polished so the etched texture shines through. All edges were hand filed and sanded until ultra-smooth to ensure a comfortable wear against the skin. Brass earwires.
